Hey guys I am new her. I just bought mine yesterday. 2003.5 blazin yellow. 34000 miles. I got it for $13800. Needs new tires though. Still has the stock potenzas. It is pretty much stock. It is running 9lbs. Has an injen intake. It also has genuine mazdaspeed axelback exhaust (not the racingbeat exhaust that comes stock) sounds quiet and low.Are the racing beat springs stock? It seems pretty low. I like the car. (thumb)

congrats on the purchase.

the springs should be stock, seeing as they're racing beat.

9lbs of boost, you say. do you already have a boost gauge? seems high for stock, that is unless it's got an mbc.

again, congrats!

Did you buy the car from some guy that was selling it in Illinois?

I have a boost gauge and a joe p mbc.
The car was set at 10lbs when I got it. I lowered it cause it was bucking in 4th gear. It is at 9 now. I think it is pulling timing cause it feels pretty slow and kinda has a hesitant or jerky acceleration. What can be done about this?

bucking as in it feels like you hit a brick wall? called fuel cut. away around it is to get engine management. bucking, sign of maybe too much fuel, although doesn't make sense with higher boost. either way, if you are going to do 1 and only 1 upgrade, let it be an EMS. after that, considering an exhaust because that the msp one is very restrictive. with those 2 mods alone, you should have a completely different car
