SP23 17" Wheel Cost

Does anyone know what the SP23 wheels sell for?
I have heard $800 each. If so, I think I`ll just buy an aftermarket set of four rather than one of these babies.

A nice, light 17" wheel would be of more service to you than the heavy monsters on those cars. =) SSR Competition would be lots lighter!

And cost only 3-400 each. In 15", they weigh 8 pounds, as a good comparison. Heh.

The SSR is one of my favorites, but I have read of several instances of damaged SSRs. However, I`m thinking more in the price range of $800 for all four.
You are right about the weight of the Mazda 17s. I weighed one of mine at 45 lbs. for the wheel and tire. I should be able to shave at least 10lbs. even if I go with a cheaper wheel than the SSR.
Is there something with a similar look to the SSR at about half the cost?

Half the cost? Well, not without doubling the weight, not really. =/ At which point, you'd be better off buying something that looked totally different, just because you can get that at a lighter weight. I'll poke around, and see what I can find, though.
