Nothing wrong with the concept having a FMIC, it also had Spearco racing seats, and sun roof wide body kit!! Haha it had from what the pictures show a lot of stuff we could have enjoyed.

Bump, anyone have an engine bay picture by any chance? Also there was this one thread that a member had his Mechanic "pull some strings" to get the Mazdaspeed FMIC and he posted pictures but didn't like it because of the routing of the pipes, anyone know if that thread is still here or better yet any pictures??

I have personally seen the Mazdaspeed FMIC, they were developing it to be sold as an upgrade package. The one I saw (like a couple weeks ago) was sorta a prototype though so the piping on it was silicone and hand shaped. He said it works really well though, and he should know seeing as his protege spent years racing in the Grand Am cup/league/series/whatever it is.

I really like that widebody kit and the rear bumper though. I'm glad they kept the front bumper the way they did though.

Did you get to take any pictures of it? I just want to see how they routed the pipes even though I already have a FMIC on the way. Just wondering..

Comments to the other stuff, I like the front bumper, the fogs look good but they look hella small. Everything would be perfect on that car except I might have desinged the bumper a little different and put the 03.5 wing on there.

I like the fmic, fender flares, rear bumper and the badging. I dont like the front bumper though.

I remember seeing that back in 2000 on a few websites and in Sport Compact. It had a 1.8L with a prototype HKS turbo kit that produced something around 180hp. There were some great responses from the import community, but Mazda introduced the 2.0L in 2001, so they probably scrapped the project. I'm not sure why they never followed up with it. In my opinion Mazda sucked in the late 90's and the Miata was pretty much the only performance minded car in their lineup....here in the US that is.
