<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=500 align=center><TBODY><TR><TD class=verdana7>In late 2006, Saturn will introduce an all-new crossover SUV, the Outlook. The new Outlook will be substantially larger than the Saturn Vue, their only current SUV, with the Outlook seating up to 8 passengers in three rows of seats.

The Outlook will be based on GM’s Lambda platform, which in future years will also be used for several other vehicles including a replacement for the Buick Rendezvous, a replacement for the Chevy Uplander, and a new crossover vehicle for GMC. GM has so far not given out any details about engines, other than to say it will have the capacity to have both V-6 and V-8 engines.

Looking closely at the grille of the prototype hints that the top of the grille will have a chrome bar across the top with the Saturn emblem just below the center, a design also seen on the Saturn Aura and Saturn Sky cars which the brand is also to introduce this year. The test prototype has four wheel disk brakes and large alloy wheels mounted using 6 lug bolts. Large twin rectangular exhaust pipes at the rear hint at a large displacement engine.

Right, but aren't there enough clones of it in the other GM brands already?

This is suppose to be on a updated theta II plateform. The other clones are not 7 seaters.
