****My fav mod of week : Mazda 6 wagon rear wiper (that's right bitches)

Now before you all start bitching about lowering it... it's coming. and I'm putting mesh in the front grill tonight.

also if you have any suggestions for badges i'm open. I think I might do a small flying m about where the factory one was but that's it. I got something planned for the front.

I like it I'm about 94% satisfied with the paint job. I did most of the fiber glassing myself and had the shop touch it up and paint it. total was about $850.

Next on deck:
Springs
RB Rear Sway Bar w/AWR end links
AWR side mount inserts
35% tnt

Which I will do tonight.

I will try to put in my Sparco Torino on Saturday night.

I also have some wheels and exhaust waiting.

More pics later.

When you put the mesh in the grill I would paint that support black so it doesn't jump out like it does. If you have a bright color like you it needs to be done IMO.

How do you find the contact is with the rear wiper from the 6? That has to be the most annoying thing for me, trying to find a wiper for the hatch window that actually wipes it properly. From an 04, 05 or 06? I may have to get one...

I glues the rear insert in, then filled and smoothed it with fiber glass and resin

took a lot of sanding and time.

i got the skirts from buddy club in FL( link (http://www.buddyclub2.com) )
250 shipped. it took about a week and a half because they didn't have them in stock and had to make them fresh. they fit great.
now i just need the Mint Blue Type 1 wing

the bumper lights i did with my new favorite toy... FIBER GLASS!
again... a lot of sanding and patience!!!

your car = teh hawtness! I would have kept the Flying M on the rear, but that's it. I'm thinking about losing the P5 and mazda badge and just keeping the M. IDK if you're into them or not, but JDM tails would really complete the rear imo. Anyways, the car looks soooo nice. Get us a how-to on the mazda6 rear wiper :)

I can't wait to see what your MP3 wheels look like with the spacers installed.

Did you have to get extended studs for those to work? I was thinking about getting a set of 5mm spacers to take my MP3 wheels down to a +50mm.

The people of the forum have spoken. You will be booted off the island if you do not share information about the rear wiper. Start spilling bucko.
X2 - I need a new rear blade and well, I'd rather do the 6 wagon mod. (rtfm)

I was abt to ask (I just read the thread), how does that work? I've heard a lot of other mazda rear wipers don't fit right on the mount (or whatever you want to call it) for the P5. An tips / tricks for installation/

I was wondering what springs you used for that "perfected drop"?

Iggy
08-21-2006, 08:48 AM
damn dude, alot has changed on your car since I saw it in the spring. wanna get together sometime soon for a detail day? I need to give me car a good cleaning since my family let it sit in the drive way for two months with grass on the body when I was in armenia, and Sean moved away so my usual go to guy is gone. I figure we could both clean our cars and you could convince me to buy springs
