I like this kit, but it is $$ and I'm concerned about ground clearance (mainly big bump into driveway), and some people that I have talked too say that it looks too ricey.
The other option I was considering is just getting a gt-x front bumper and nothing else
btw, the car will be painted mitsubishi '06 "ultroviolet blue" :)
just looking for more opinions

Ist looks ricey with the huge wing and the car looks lowered quite a bit but you may have enough clearance with the kit if your car is not lowered. I love the paint job though. Front end looks like there is a lot going on as well. The second pic looks clean and almost stockish but not a fan of the scoop unless it is functional. This you post this thread at clubprotege?

car is stock height, and I would keep my stock wing.
I think I need to see some pictures of this kit on pavement so I can know if Ill have height issues.
I also love the 3-spoke wheel look.

I also love the 3-spoke wheel look.
If those are Antaras I had those on my civic way back when.. cool wheels, they need a special puma looking key to unlock the center cap.

Is that the only kit for that yr model? I hope not. It's not the worst but not the best.

go to protegetech.org and look into some pics there. You might find a pic of that kits sitting on the tarmac so you will have something to work with with regards to clearance. I like em both reason being is that I always want to be different and limited of ever..lol

i like the 2nd one WAY better. that first one does look a little too ricey. and the rims in the 1st one have got to be the worst rims ive ever seen. sorry but there are so many geo's and stock sunfire's and fugly old cars around houston with those rims and they just look so cheap in my opinion. i ust get tired of seeing them.

first time I saw that gt-x bumper (black car), i didnt like it that much. every time i see it now i like it more and more. plus, its wayyyy cheaper, and it doesn't sit so low to the ground.
edit: what do you guys think about the color?

I think the color is ok, though it's close to Mazda's "Winning Blue" on the RX-8.
I think the Mazstyle kit is complete rice. Wheels are cheap and crappy. Enough said.
As far as the bumper, either the one you posted or the other GT-X style, mine. I prefer mine, but either one looks good. Pic of mine:
