The bulge on the hood in front of the vent looks vaguely phallic.

But it's still a nice hood. :)

thanks but i dunno what the heck u said? lol

it looks nice man. it seems like the gap between the hood and the grill is a little too much for my taste. I guess it could be a little better. And i was thinking maybe a set of CF eyelids would look very hot now that you have the CF hood and grill. The eyelids now stand out more cause they dont blend with the hood.
How much was it?

Jeph
03-10-2006, 02:24 PM
Nice, but the gap by the grill is a little much

BC3I
03-10-2006, 02:28 PM
iactually had the same size gap with my stock hood..its my CF grille that make that gap.

i am actually gonna be painting the 2 sides like this only silver

seriously though, that thing is gorgeous. I would love it, but I dont think it would get along with Utah winters

Jeph
03-10-2006, 03:39 PM
Exactly what i thought when i was looking at hoods. The vented is sweet, and looks awesome, but then i'd have to swap my stocker back on for the winter.

BC3I
03-10-2006, 03:52 PM
yea u got a point there

DERA
03-10-2006, 04:59 PM
oh. the invader looks SO hot with the sides painted into the headlights like that. i have the hood incoming. i should have it in a couple days, and i'm painting it the same way. i cant wait!

BC3I
03-10-2006, 05:19 PM

03-10-2006, 09:29 PM
Is that vent functional or decorative?

Why would someone have to swap back to a stock hood for winter?

FLAMEBOY
03-10-2006, 09:51 PM
WOW!!!! BC3I!!!

u really did it dude!!! ^_^

looks hot!!!! omg omg, i cant wait till u paint it! if you want... use the grill the 'Malebastard' use.... u know his right?

anyway... sorry didnt have a chance to meet up when ur in sydney.... real sorry dude...

BC3I
03-10-2006, 10:21 PM
the vent keeps a steady flow of air that comes in from the grille and bumper and goes over the radiator keeping it cooler...at leats i think so LOL

goldwing2000
03-10-2006, 10:27 PM
Actually, the location and position of that vent looks like it would allow air to come in through the grille, completely bypass the radiator and go straight out the top of the hood. (dunno)

haha that would suck. And i dont get why that hood wouldnt be good in the winter either. maybe snow would get in your engine??

BC3I
03-10-2006, 10:36 PM
honestly i could care less cause i love how it looks

Nutari

very nice and clean.. cept for the gap between the grill and hood. very nice lines otherwise.

DERA
03-10-2006, 11:07 PM
snow or rain in the engine wouldn't be a problem. they, or at least mine, come with a peice that screws on the inside to block the vent during bad weather

BC3I
03-10-2006, 11:10 PM
wait what hood did u get the evo style??

DERA
03-11-2006, 02:03 AM
invader style, with the bottom insert to block the vent

BC3I
03-11-2006, 02:05 AM

DERA
03-11-2006, 02:34 AM

BC3I
03-11-2006, 05:37 AM
oh u know what since your 5dr hood is longer than mine the hood is farther back so u need that...i dont
