Would that be the M1 I guess, looks nice, any power numbers or is this even aval. in the US.

BMW most likely will not badge a Motorsport version of the 1 series as an M1 because of the legacy of the 80-81 M1.

I'd totally rock that car. It reminds me of the Z3 hatch version only bigger.

It's not the "M" 1, cause it's still got the 118d badge on it (not sure what's up with the dual exhaust, though). Diesel, RWD, 120hp and 207 lb/ft. (The 120d is the fastest 1 series as far as i know w/~160hp and a sub 8sec 0-60).

Last time I checked the "M" 1 was gonna get the 3.0 liter engine from the 330Ci with ~255hp. I read a couple bad reviews about the euro 1 series, but maybe the M version will still be druel-worthy. Not sure what's coming stateside, though.

And what's up with Top Gear/Jeremy Clarkson's hatred for the 1 series? Anyone else see that episode?

I'll just wait for that M4 coupe...mmmmmm.

The 130i M sport has the 3.0 from the new e90 325/330. The M version of the 1 series is more likely to get the 3.2 from the current M3 and new z3 m.
