Today I noticed my car starting to overheat at a drivethru, gauge was about 3/4 up. As soon as I move out it drops down to normal. When I get home I find the driver side fan plug is disconnected!!! WTF!!??? I'm lucky ambient temps haven't been more than 40 F the past few months and I almost always use the heater which turns on the auxiliary ac fan.

I started thinking... how? who? why? And I realized that the only time someone other than myself have touched my car was 10,000 miles ago for the 30k service at the dealership!!! How the fcuk? (boom07)

You think the plug just "popped" out? Maybe the dealership did it on purpose to make me lose the engine? I don't understand. Good thing it didn't really overheat that much and all is ok. Maybe the Water Wetter helped...

I'm just telling what happened to me the other night and my puzzling discovery, a disconnected fan plug. Maybe somebody else had this happen before, idk, so I posted about it.

**edited** Thanks for telling me about the spam...(thumb)

Last time I took my sedan in to the dealer it was for a scheduled service including an oil change. When I changed it next myself, I found the filter was barely on (less than finger tight). How I kept from blowing it off I'll never know. Needless to say they won't be working on my car again.

Urgh! We can't trust anyone to work on our cars anymore. I am so paranoid whenever I need to take my car anywhere to get work done, even for an oil change. One time, my car was overfilled with 1 extra of oil at a shop; then a tire shop scratched the heck out of one of my rim. (notcool)

Can they all really be that lame or do they do it on purpose just for fun? Either way just sucks major ass! Way to widespread, especially for what labor costs are. It probably goes back to the same thing as everywhere else nowdays-you got 5 people being forced to do the work of 12 because of skeleton crew staffing practices folks have to do to stay in business at all. Yuk, I just threw up a little in my mouth getting that close to justifying or defending that shit but my struggling faith in humanity makes me want to at least hope that people would like to take pride in what they do IF they were provided ample time to do so. Still, my car no get touchy by nobody else unless absofuckinlutely necessary.
