Hi All,
As the titel suggests I have found that the previous owner of my car broke Stock hotpipe at the BPV fitting. The entire BPV fitting snapped off at the hotpipe.
Can anyone suggest an adhesive that may have the strength to hold the 2 pieces for a while? If i hold the borken BPV piece up to the hotpipe it fits very snug so I am thinking a possible epoxy or glue job may be the ticket till I can afford Turbohoses hardpies.

JB Weld will work. I used it when mine snapped off before I got the hardpipes.
Just make sure you wipe both surfaces with lacquer thinner or alcohol. That will promote a good seal. Let it dry over night and it will be stronger than before.

Try AMAZING GOOP it says plumbing contact adhesive and sealant. I used it on the microwave at my house, the handle broke on the above stove micro wave and I didn't want to spend $300. At first I forgot that I had glued it and the handle came of, I put it back on and told myself I'd try again in the morning. When I got up to pull it of it didn't let go, so its been on there for 4 months.

Is your name supposed to be Ben@Toledo... and its just a typo? I live in Toledo.
Epoxy, JB Weld, Melt the plastic together, eventually you should get hardpipes.

Yeah sure is )P
I'm to lazy to create a new account.
I'm up on the northside. Manhattan and Stickney area..... da ghetto!!!
On a side note... I have fixed the pipe and all seems ok but now I have low idle issues and overall laggy performance. Almost bad EGR'lke symptoms or vaccum leak issues still.
I found the orginal broken pipe while installing my unichip. Just as I was beginning the install of the BC. I know I was doing some tugging on the wastegate vaccum line. That line in particular was very crusty. I'm thinking I may have tuged too much and created a problem.

I just sold my Titanium MSP. It was havily modded, but I did not drive it around much. There is another titanium in toledo, it has a GearHeadz sticker on the back window and a FMIC.

I have seen a Black one around town as well. I just picked up a Titanium from Bryan (yo dood) up in Grand Rapids.
I plan on having some fun replacing the very basics to get the car runnnign at peak efficiancy. I plan on talking to the dealership before I get cracking on the larger mods. Hopefully they will be cool with some of the choices I have in mind.
Have you had any experience with the Dealership up on Central Ave?

another user on the forum, phatmsp, had the same problem when he bought his. the dealership (or the previous owner, idk), hid it with electrical tape. hardpipes have since cured the prob. anyhow, congrats on fixing it.
