Basically any time I accelerate out of first gear (going slow or flooring it) I get some kinda wheelhop or a clunking sound and even when switching into 2nd gear at WOT I get the same kinda wheel hop or clunk. I dont think its wheel hop because I dont feel it in the steering wheel, I feel it more in the clutch pedal. Only after putting mods on the car have I noticed this problem. I've read that the rear sway bar bushings could be causing clunking problems, so I baught some awr replacement bushings... they didnt do the trick. Ive read that getting awr motor mounts would fix this problem also... so im going to be buying the front motor mount and seeing if this could be the problem. Would a torn motor mount be causing this wheelhop/clunking sound? [FONT=Arial]If anyone has anything they could tell me about what this could be please let me know thanks!

My passenger side mount was the first bushing to go. Hiboost completely tore it into two pieces causing my intake piping to rub my hood and shred up part of my drive belt because of the change in engine angle. A week after I did the side mount, my rear was toast and had to replace it. The clunk is totally unrelated to acceleration. Usually around sharp corners and only in the rear. Wheel hop is very obvious especially with lowered tight suspension. Felt like my strut was going thru the wheel well. Pretty scary thinking back burning my tires in 3rd with my motor torqueing so bad its trying to jump out thru my hood with only 2 mounts holding it back.

Well it doesnt make the clunking sound taking turns... only when im letting off the clutch in 1st and also in 2nd gear if im running it hard. I probably did tear a mm or something... i guess i will find out once i install them :)
