Bought a used injen and it has no instructions. It seems pretty simple to install but what hoses hook up to the intake? I did a search and could not find anything on it.
Is it easier to clean the filter or just go buy a new one. Are the injen intakes similar to the K & E and can you use the same cleaning kit?
Is it worth installing the intake without opening up the exhaust.. I have the CustomMSP SMIC and now the injen intake..All air going in and none leaving is that a bad thing?

the Injen filter is a K&N filter & can be cleaned by buying a $11 K&N "recharger" kit from an autoparts store.
The small nipple on the intake connects to the vacuum line that goes to the engine block (hose should have been provided) The pipe that comes off the intake & wraps up & arround will connect to the BPV line from the hot pipe.
And the intake will give you some improvement over stock w/ out upgrading the exhaust but I suggest doing that next :D

enjoy cleaning that filter ever 3-6k miles LOL. It gets annoying. Thats why I converted to using the Injen as a SRI (evil)

oh, yeah. Im guessing you mean on the second pipe right? That will be the Air intake sensor. When you remove the stock intake make sure to remove the rubber grommet & put it in that hole & then plug the AIT sensor into that
thanks what goes in the small holenear the bottem?
