I am wanting to get a set of 18's for my car but what is the widest that I can go without rubbing. Discount tire says the widest I can go is 7.5 but I'd like to go a little bit widder.

i think u should go 18x10 with a 10mm offset

ok but seriously this time most rim shops have been telling me 7.5 also... ne reason you want a wider wheel?

i don't think you can fit a 8" wide wheel (or wider) without fender modification.

I seem to recall a thread in the Rims, Tires, Suspension section that covers this in depth...

rx8 wheels fit and i think they are 18x8 +50 offsetthey don't fit as-is, I believe you have to run spacers in the rear and modify the rear fenders

(can anyone confirm this?)

+45 offset minimum, 7.5" wide max, and 15" wheel minimum. This will ensure no problems.

on the P5 you will need spaces in the rear as well as rolling the fender, they will fit on the MSP without problems
