Well I live in orlando and I was driving home today and the wonderful road workers designed the perfect rim bender and I hit it. Does anyone know why they cut out a piece of the road and just leave two uneven levels for people to run into? I'm baffled by this one.
Ordered a new rim $300 down the drain (this was my carbon fiber hood money) AAGGGHHHH I hate them.

take pics of the road (and hopefully the lack of a warning sign) and maybe the city/state will pick up the tab.

Yeah I'm going to do that tomorrow and I left a message on the head of expressway's voicemail today. So lets see if he'll call me back . If not I'll call him everyday.

hey.. there are places who repair rims.. around here we have a couple. I have seen some fd up rims get repaired good. They do repair bent wheels as well.. im not sure about around you but just a thought.
you already ordered your new one but it's worth the inquiry if you havent already.

I thought about that as well but then I said what if its visually fixed but it never reeally gets fixed. Then I have to live with a vibration or some stupid issue like that. So I just figured I'd order a new one and go after the state. (After all I do pay taxes and toll money to keep the roads in good condition) And since its something they obiviously did on thier own they should pay for it. We'll see if I can get them to pay.
