Ok, so I bought the front and rear awr motor mounts a few months ago and never had time to put them in. So last sunday, JCell was kind of enough to give me a hand and install the front one. When we got done, I looked at the stock one and it was torn. The first "connection" (of the two that connect to the outside ring) was completely torn through and the second was starting to tear. We didn't have time to install the rear one, but I'm wondering:
If the first one has sustained this much damage, what are the odds that the rear has torn as well?
Since sunday, I have noticed a small "rattling" feeling when I semi-launch. Is this the front mount? or is this the front mount carrying the rear with it b/c the rear is torn? Is that even plausible? If the front one goes, so does the rear?
In light of this, though, I'm able to chirp in 2nd and 3rd now :)
Mods:
catless midpipe
injen "ram" air (minus the fender side pipe)
turboxs mbc: 10-12psi
oh, one more thing.... being that there is more "power to the wheels" w/ the front mount in, does it increase the "load" on the engine, or am I to assume that any loads present now were already there w/ the stock ones?
Thank you,

Everyone`s front stock motor mount is torn... They`re all garbage. My rear one was perfectly fine though. Now, with the front only, I`m guessing the rear will be more likely to go out? I just changed both at the same time.

Somewhere around post 25-30 is some info about just changing the front, I think. I don`t have a pic., but you`ll know it`s torn because the front looks like a two spoke wheel and one spoke will not be connected. There`s a pic. somewhere on the forum.

Power that was once dispersed through the soft mount is now being transfered (more so) throughout the car. Wait till you get the rear one in. You will shake yourself to death. This rattle that you are hearing is probably something lose in the car you would have never noticed before. Its like instaling your first set of Subs. You start to notice new sounds.

Well, the 77s or 75s or whatever are not bad. DO NOT get 95, that`s what I have.

It's definately through the power train. I can feel it in my feet (clutch & gas), through the shifter and steering wheel. It happened again this morning.... it's a "rattle" noise but more of like a grinding feeling in my limbs. It only happens in first gear when I half throttle it. It's almost like that annoying noise/feeling you get from driving a golf cart.

i installed the motormounts 2 days ago. They are front and rear 70 AWR mounts. IMO, i dont really like the vibration when AC is on...so i might decide to remove the front mounts and put back the stock one and leave the AWR rear on the car...also i might fill the front stock mounts with window weld..
any ideas?
I really can not image how 88 and 95 feel like...

They're supposed to break in over time, keep us posted.
I think I'm going to go the AWR 70 in the front and RR insert in the rear. I really don't want a whole lot of vibration.
