Remote Starter - Transponder Key?

Hi, does anyone know whether we need a spare key to install a remote starter? Does our stock key have a built-in transponder?

Nevermind, I found it in the manual. Looks like we need a spare key with a transponder in it :(

All new Mazda’s need it I believe.


Don't forget that you can use the vale key. Also, something there are common modules you can use instead. I don't believe DEI has one of these for Mazda’s yet.
