Hey I have alot of rattling coming from my rear deck from my subs . Does anyone have any advice on how to stop this ? it has just started recently and it seems to be gettin worse..


Need advice . Please help !

remove the back plastic deck,put some dynamat on the plastic,(under)then put some on the metal,facing up,and put the plastic back on,you wont have any rattles anymore,i ve done it,what a difference,no more rattles,noise,nothing,just nice music and tight bass.. :)

another (cheaper) way than dynamat to cut down on the rattle is to go out and buy some foam weather stripping. i did this yesterday. you can pick it up from your local home depot/lowes for like 3 bucks. put some down along the metal on your rear deck.

that is where i got the idea. it has worked wonders for me so far. you can also use the excess stripping for dash rattle. if you can figure out where it comes from.

I folded up a business card & shoved it against the rear deck & rear windshield, right in the middle. No more rattle! Ghetto fix FTW!

How hard is it to take the rear deck apart to get to that ? Can you do me a favor and take some clear pix so i know where to put this weather stripping . Please it would help me out alot thanks .

wow ~~!!!! what a difference . sounds almost perfect. i mean there is a slight rattle but almost none at all . awsome thanks for the advice guys.

ha ha naw not this time maybe next time . but this time i used the weather stripping foam
