May I know if the OBDII plug on all cars are the same?

If their OBD2 they are, as far as I know.

yea every obd2 car has a standardized connector, but alot of companies use an extra one to get more info on company specific features

Yep, all OBDII cars has the same Data Link Connector. But the location of the connector vary from companies and cars. It could be under the steering column or some is hidden behind the ash tray(weird).

there are three, now four i think, different protocols for OBDII, so not all hardware may be able to read your specific vehicle
