I figure I may have a leak someplace. I am not boosting in first gear, stays around 1-2 PSI but does hit 5.5-6.0 in 2 3rd and 4th gear. The guage needle bounces like crazy when its at full boost bounces between 5.5-6.00 and I mean crazy. All other times the needle is smooth.

I know you dont build up enough in 1st to boost But I thought i was before. I am just wondering about my Turkey sound.

I also dont hear the Turkey sound anymore, Is that a leak problem or valve problem? I may have to build one of those testers and test my lines. I do have some new boost lines coming in to replace the old craskin stuff. THanks for the help.

Is the Samco Hose sealing properly the SMIC?
The car was running fine before hte hose and SIC.Right?
CHeck what you changed last.
It sounds like a boost leak

for me, looking at my boost gauge..... its pretty difficult to get into boost in first gear unless you launch the thing. I dunno bout the lack of turkey sound though.

seriously? something is wrong with all-yall!!!!

I think the problem is a boost leak. Check your recirculation hoses first, then check your vac hoses, then make sure the BPV is facing the right direction. There is a flow arrow on the side.

I took it out this mornign and tried this..If I gradually get into boost. It climbs to 6 PSI andd holds there before dropping like .5. IF i really jam on the gas then thats when things go crazy. The needle bounces like mad. So I am not sure what the difference is..I did here the turkey but it I can barely hear it. I thought it was louder before the Silicone pipe and CustomMSP's SMIC.

I ordered new Silicone tubing to replace the cracked crap and I think the Bottem plastic ctock hose may be a tad bit loose..So ill check that as well.

i get full boost in all gears, including 1st, it makes 1st even shorter, but i definetely go into boost. it seems normal for most boost to fall about .5 psi if it is held long enough, i dont know about the jerky needle though, can you feel the boost altering, maybe its just the hose to your boost gauge? i have a copper boost line so i dont ever see any fluxuating with my needle.

I don't hear my turkey all the time. Boost is fine.
