How long have you had it now, what other mods are on the car? Any EMS AFC of any type?

I've had it on for a month or two can't remember bought it from a forum member. No AFC or enigne tuning. Just the full 3 inch GHL and 3 inch C/B and forge BOV. thats about it. for now...

and no cell, i wonder why it could be?

it comes from the egt's beeing to high(i think) mine does it also, but only when i beat on it at high rpm. if you do it to much, i would think you would fry the cat.

so the solution would be don't beat on the car hard...a lot

i have the vibrant exhaust and when i get on it it smells awful like sulfur. i dont remember the stock exhaust having this smell... possibly becuase it replaces the 2 cats with a high flow cat.

actually its a bad tank of gas, especially if it smells like rotten eggs.

i imagine some fuel tuning would help some....you know how rich these cars run.

shity or bad 91 ocatane...haha

I'm switching to 76 or Chevron or Shell...most likely 76.
And yes some tuning will be good, which is my plan after I get done with my FMIC ordered and installed, the DSM AFC and 440-550 CC injectors will go in.
After that some cosmestics...yea she is gonna need some make-up...lol
and some suspension somewhere in there..

I've noticed that my last tank of gas (pumped at citgo) was giving me the sulfur/rotten egg smell...

dont think i had that problem with shell

its because you have a highflow cat. Its not catching all the things that it did w/ the full cat set up. I Have no cats & smell this all day long...god forgid you are on a motorcycle behind me LOL. Its nothing to worry about...the smell has always been there, just VERY noticable due to the highflow cat

My first Hi-flow cat (Magnaflow) on a 1.5" midpipe (the rest was OEM) never smelled in a year and half. My second hi-flow (Vibrant on 2.5" mdpipe also) with a 2.5" catback (3" axelback) smelled everytime I revved the engine hard (event for little time) Things got really hot under there as well. The Thermo-Tec tape melted by the bung for the O2 sensor (just after the cat).
Now I'm back with the stock dual cats (the rest of the line is still the same for now) and it doesn't smell anymore

Yea anything lower then 91 your car will do this ---->(blarf) and the power

Sadly I'm stuck with 91 at least I have acess to 110 octan gas but that is when i go to the drag strip if I ever do...and I'll go on a half tank or less, then i'll put some high octane in there. AFC will hopefully help it out..

Lol....and that drawing is funny too..
