Guys,

What is that bolt in the factory Jpipe?
How many o2 sensors there are in a stock MSP?

I was wondering if I could use that position to run a wideband and if there s enough clearance for it.

I will buy an apexi one or mam really soon.
I hope.

i found this:

You can install it on the stock exhaust, and you don't need to have a new bung welded on. If you look at your J-pipe, there is a large bolt in the pipe. It's there because Mazda used the same J-pipe and cat that the original Protege uses, and that's where the 2nd O2 goes in the original Protege. It's where I installed my Zietronix before I got my Vibrant exhaust.

He is talking about that place?

Sure sounds logical for me. I'd go take a look, but my J-pipe is in the attic.

Just watch out for the nut behind the wheel.

Rush told me that she installed her WBO2 there, so you should be good to go.

Well, the threads for the sensors are the same, at least.

Most WBO2 sensors out there are Bosch sensors that are sold with various gauges, but they all have the same diameter and thread pitch.
