no there are clips... ummm lets see one on each corner in the back easier to see when bumper is off

i just pulled hard on mine and it came right off?

well the clip may have just popped out of place... so i suppose pulling would work but there are clips 4...1 in each corner on the BACK of the grill

you can pull it out but I would take a screwdriver and pop each clip out.
