Removing the rear deck

I noticed a few of you have removed the rear deck to put in foam or do the TT Keyless entry trick.. MY question is:

How did you remove it? did you break off those plastic thingies and replace them with bolts?? I cant figure out an easy way to do it unless those things pull out easier than they look.

Just give it a pull it should come out very easy. Make sure you take the plastic christmas tree clips out behind the rear seat first. The rear deck wraps down behind the rear seats.

you don't need to break off those plastic clips. pull the center of the circular clip out first. then they will pop out quite easily.

thanks for answering my stupid question . they were a lot esier to take out than they look. But i would figure I would ask before i broke something.
