All cars are invited to attend, but there will be parking preference to Mazdas. The location is:

There is a food vendor on the park grounds that will be available for all the people that are hungry. We will still have water and soda and such and there are a few BBQ pits for those who want to bring their own food and grill.

Also, VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!! Alcohol is NOT ALLOWED AT THIS PARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are caught drinking at the meet you will be kicked out by the rest of us. There are plenty of places to drink AFTER the meet. Maybe we'll all hit up Ybor City after. Do not ruin a good time by getting the whole group kicked out of a park. Ask anyone who knows me, I love to drink, it is in my heritage, BUT I love being an [insert-derogatory-name-here] even more. I have no problem giving the boot to individuals chancing a good time for the rest of us.

If you do drugs, fine, I'm not your dad and not gonna tell you what to do, other than DO IT ON YOUR OWN FU#$@# TIME. We will NOT be re-enacting the 1969 Woodstock Festival.

Sidenote:
The production coordinators and Judges will not be allowed to "show" at the meet. Due to popular demand, there will be a judging score card for each of the judges to keep all judging as fair as possible. A template of the scorecard will be posted for everyone to see.

Last Meet (Jan 21 Florida Statewide meet) we had 100 cars, on the beach. We were conservatively expecting about the same for this one. BUT now that it's "national" I would say that 150-175 are better numbers!!!!!

there are definately caravans coming from the N.E. Talk with NEPOC, I think 3 or 4 (maybe more :)) are coming.

Also, the speed limit is more than 55mph. I know that a few of the map searches online haven't corrected that.

A few years back, I did Ft. Lauderdale (1/2 hour N of Miami) to Chitown in 15hrs flat. It's 1300 miles to and fro. Last year our club drove to Atlanta (1/2 way between Miami & Chicago) and it was 7 1/2 hours.

I would say you'd have a better chance going solo for saving the hour or two, but would miss out on the fun of a 1000++ mile trek w/ a bunch of Mazdas.

Basically, the part has a place to get food. Not just junk food, but they had grouper, shrimp, chicken, hot dogs and burgers. It was all there, and the prices were so good, it would cost more for us to go get the food to feed 200+ people who come to the meet.

There are 6 pits to grill at the pavillion, and we welcome people to bring foor to cook and eat. It will work out better, as people can then eat when hungry, instead of waiting.

That said, we now have a couple lodging oportunities:
1) rooms at a local hotel

We will need help parking the cars in groups by model, as well as getting everyone registered properly. Blackwidow, let me know if we can count on your help with this. Most own a Mazda, and not be in a Florida Mazda Club.
