I'm looking at installing a set of Angel Eyes on my 06 GT. I'm looking at two different companies (jlevisw's Predator Chromiums (http://jlevistreetwerks.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=56&products_id=267&osCsid=b76323a7f404a1486f2b4362d1dcede0) & Xenon Expert's Raptor DDEs (http://www.xenonexpert.com/ddekits.html)) Has anybody compared the two? Any noticeable difference? Are there any other competitors that I should check into?
Thanks for the help.
~Ian

Same thing.

Umnitza has them as well, but it seems they are not liked in the mazda community. I had no issues with them getting a ballast\inverter replaced. Go with whoever is cheaper.

I've checked into them too, but I'd like to give our sponsors some business. Is there any noticeable difference in the products? More output? Durability? Customer Service? Is there any one that I should avoid?

Any of them willing to give me a sponsorship?? ;)

for the price i would go with the Xenon Expert ones. 129 sounds like a good price. i am interested in this. i think we should get a group buy.
I see the pics and i cant really see a difference between the more expensiveones and the regular ones.

The cheaper ones are thinner, more likely to break during install, they also arent as bright. More expensive ones have a thicker ribbed glass ring that gives them more rigidity, and produces a wider\brighter light. The cheaper ones (thinlines) look like they just hang in the high beam pocket, where the chromiums\raptor whatever actually fit rather nicely.

i'll take your word for it. it only means that it will be longer till i get them then. it is just way overpriced and i cant get myself to pay that much for it.
maybei'll change my mind at some point.

I was the test car for the Xtec ones and i can't say enough how much i like them. I am a performance kinda guy, but these things look so damn cool, it's crazy. Both Xtec and Xenon expert are awesome to deal with.

The thinlines fit both lights perfect. I only have a few old pics, and they aren't all that great, so if anybody wants some pics to help make a final decision, say so and i'll get some good ones this weekend.

Hey everyone wait a second before you buy the xenonexpert ones. I just emailed their distributor's link to sign up to be one of their dealers. We get stuff at work through keystone automotive right now but they dont carry much in the way of quality aftermarket lights like this. So if i get approved and decide to sign up i may be able to get a better deal on these. (after i get my merchant member lisence on the forums of course)
