I have a front MM but this rattling just has been a little more notciable. You can hear it when standing out side while the car is idling, the noise comes from where the front liscene plate should be and when i press against it,the noise stops.

What do you think could be the problem? IS this normal when u have a front MM installed? Also i have this nosie when in the car can this be fixed and no i don't want to take my MM off. its where my speed dash my TT is on there it shakes and rumbles...

any input or help

WElcome to the world of AWR motormounts. I have so many rattles right now its not funny. Best suggestion would be to start talkig apart where the rattles are and retightening everything down. Im pulling my Dash, Doorpanels and rear deck this weekend because of rattles.

Yes so very annoying but I can suck it up, I suppose I'll take a look around the dash, doorpanels and bumper. Did you know my spoiler even vibrates during idle...haha

Mine does too. I suggest putting some thread lock on the bolts. At least the ones you KNOW you wont need to touch again. I got a rattle in both front doors right at the lock rod. I dont know how Im gonna fix that. The dash seems to come from right behind the Radio surround (I have been back there numerous times so I probably did that) and the P/S airbag. Ill see and let you know what I find when I pull mine apart.

that is why i did not want MM.
maybe you get softer ones or try to isolate the problem.
rattles are one thing that i hate (deadhorse
