View Full Version : Contents of Brake Pad Kit

I just purchased OEM front and rear brake pads for the MSP ($180.00 USD total after tax(boom07) ). The Front Pad Kit had: Grease, Anti-squeal Clips, Guides, Shims, and the Pads. The Rear Pad Kit (GGYB-26-48Z) ONLY had Anti-squeal Clips, Pads, and a nice sized hole in the box. Is there a way to find what the contents should be? I believe the rear guides should have been included and maybe the other stuff the front kit had.

The dealer said the girl in parts ordered the full kit for the front (with hardware) and the pad only kit for the rear (no hardware).(bang) I do recommend new hardware and a lot of grease on everything except the rotor and face of the pad.

$180 bucks for OEM pads?! That is an outrageous price. I got my Hawk HPS pads front and rear for a grand total of $105 shipped from a place in Cali. Is it just me or is that a ton of money for OEM pads?
