I've been looking to upgrade my alternator from the stock 80amp to something a little higher 100 - 120amp. I haven't been able to find anyone who makes a direct plug in, but I thought I'd ask?

You can have it built as a high output but I think the ECU would control it and lower the output still. But I am interested in what you find out.

The ECU would regulate the power intake some, but the demand of a higher powered ignition and stereo system need the added power. But I'll keep you updated on it. I think it's something a lot of us can benefit from.

I found a 130-140 amp alt direct plug in for the 2.0, $230, 3 day to be made. If any one in the philly market is interested I can get you in touch with the guy's I'm using.
