14" wheels

I am looking to go up to the mountain in my protege5 or my mazda 5, I have a set of snow tires/wheels with the right bolt pattern but they are 14" wheels. Will these clear the suspension/brakes? Anyone out there tried it? I'm asking as I don't have the wheels on hand and will have to drive to go pick them up. Hoping to save a trip if they won't fit.

I don't think 14" wheels will fit on an MSP because of the larger brakes but they WILL fit on a Protege5 if the offset and tiresize is sufficient. What size tires are on there?

i use 14's on my Protege5 in the winter!

Sorry for posting in the wrong section, I could have swore it was the 3rd gen section. My bad. Thanks for letting me know they should work with the proper offset.
