Why would Mazda do that? I thought the CX-9 and CX-7 were larger then the Tribute? The Ford Edge and Lincoln version are not replacing the Escape and Mariner.

The 06' Tributes out here are priced at $15k / loaded ...... I thought they were on their out as well with deals like that.

Bumpers and lower body panels in grey? How 1996 Subaru. Let's throw in a non-functional hood scoop, too, while we're at it.

If i'm not mistaken, didn't the Tribute 'i' model always come with grey lower body panels?

Tribute "i"s come with unpainted grey bumpers/body moulding, Tribute Ss come with painted grey bumpers/body moulding unless they are black, grey(well, ok), or biege.

Subaru still has grey bumpers/moulding on thier Outbacks(both Impreza and Legacy).

All Tributes I've seen are two tone.

My aunt has two.. a 2002 blue with gray painted lower panels, and a 2005 in beige with beige lower panels.

They're painted, but you can get either grey or body-color bumpers and moulding on the Outbacks. As far as which colors it applies to, I don't know. I've seen blue with grey, green with grey(and I think the green only comes with grey - the Tribute use to come with this combo and it looked awsome), black with grey, white with grey.

Well those pics are JDM it seems...Look where the steering wheel is...I also got the impression it will not be sold in the states once the CX-7 and CX-9 are avaialble...It might say in our CX-7 forum (http://www.msprotege.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=230)...There are quite a few press releases posted in there ;)
