Hey Nikolas & Perro del Sol,

If I'm in town, I will try my best to come down to watch (take pics and some video if you like). I would have signed up if I knew for sure I would be around. Mid-Ohio is my favorite track, have done 6 events there so far. Well, you have me hoping and praying for good weather for you all. Thank you Nikolas for giving us another HPDE that we all can sign up for and have some fun with our cars. Best wishes to you and RedlineTrackEvents!

There is another event @ BeaveRun, in PA in May, that Nick @ Redline Events is putting on. I am working with him on a Mazda 6 Challenge for this track day as well.

I am sure he can do one for all of us Protege Owners as well. Hopefully, we'll see you @ Mid-Ohio. Wish more Protege owners would show up.

where exactly is this track? it does not give me an address and I want to see how far its from me :) can someone give me a city name or something please :)

it is located in Lexington, Ohio, Right off of Interstate 71 and Ohio Route 97. Here is a link to the track and to the event information as well.

4hr drive for me :) but I just remembered something thats a much bigger problem my gf's birthday is the 31st :( so I cant come .... doooh

This event has been cancelled:


The Mid-Ohio Track Event / Time Attack was canceled due to a track resurfacing project that will not be completed in time for our event. Mid-Ohio regrettably informed us of this cancellation on 3/16/2006. Due to this unfortunate turn of events We have secured a weekend date at BeaveRun in western Pennsylvania the weekend of May 13th-14th. We believe the facility will work very well. We are in the process of contacting all of the people who have registered for the Mid Ohio event, so far about 1/2 of them have chosen to move their registration to the BeaveRun event. If you have registered for the Mid-Ohio event and have not yet been contacted, we will be calling/emailing you very soon to arrange a refund or transfer to the BeaveRun event. Please keep in mind that the cancellation of the Mid Ohio date was completely out of our control, and was mandated by the Track Management at Mid-Ohio. We have acted quickly to secure another facility and we have the utmost confidence the BeaveRun event will go very well*
