Very even match. Civic lost to the fact that engine needed revving and hence was not as elastic as the 2L'ers in the test. They where not thrilled about the suspension and also felt the steering to be a tad numb. To boot, the Seat Leon was the cheapest by a good margin, which helped it getting the #1 position.

80-120km/h in 6. gear
Leon: 12.2 sec.
Civic: 18.8 sec.

60-100km/h in 4. gear
Leon: 6.9 sec.
Civic: 9.3 sec.
