dgm cf hood

i bought a dgm CF hood off of ebay about 2 weeks ago and finaly put it on today. but the problem seems to be that when i latch it down the loop peace that latchs in is to long so when i drive the hood bounces up about a inch or so. has any one else had this problem? or have and suggestions on how i should fix this? thanks guys and let there you should have serched posts begin

Is it possible to adjust the stock latching mechanism and just pull it down a little and that should stop the bouncing. if not than I am clueless!

If you have a camera, go pull up on the hood while it's latched and take a picture of the gap. I've got an idea what it may be but then again it may not.
