Depends on what you want. You want show and low, or do you want some razor-sharp handling with coilovers?

bags would be nice if you want show.
coilovers would be if you dont mind a rough ride.and increase your handling and be adjustable
springs will lower you a lil bit and increase your handling

on this forum, the answer you will most likely get is the coilovers.

Get bags if you don't do any crazy driving like auto-x

Kaneohep5bagged had air bags and a full kit on his car, looked mean.

well further than the ride sucking (i personally prefer a stiff ride) i believe that the air ride is going to make your car heavier as aposed to coilovers making it weigh the same or slightly lighter as with my JIC's

yeah, check out kaneohep5bagged. it looks awesome but from my understanding; he's already replaced 3 bags. i can't recall if he said it or someone else, they said the ride gets junk w/ the bags...it's more for show. i've also heard that you should not turbo the car w/ bags...rather, it's not wise. teins are good for daily driven cars. i found the jics were too harsh for daily driving...they were more for track. good luck w/ your decision. (i'd go w/ the teins)

yo why do the airbags need suspension? i thought they're just bags of air. does the car handle better when the airbags are properly suspended?

Airbags are not the way to go. If your made of money you could get spend a lot into a great systema nd maybe find something that your happy with, but from the way most people are they wouldn't want to spend that kind of money. If you do decide to get an air ride do not get the FBSS Slow Kit from airbagit.com They suck! Their parts are crap they leak and they crack with ease...... It was a nightmare putting it onto my friends celica.... I'd say go with just springs and a good set of struts/shocks. Unless you plan to race the car then having the adjustablity would be good if you want to corner balanace it. For daily driving and just wanting to take a curve fast you can do that with just a good set of springs. Plus you can save about $1000 and put it into your car somewhere else.

Off topic, but great pic in your signautre! Is that Photoshop? What did you use to get that "cartoon-like" effect? Love it.

This system was just put onto the car. It's an air strut setup just like the protege5 is. If you read what I wrote you will see I'm not knocking air ride. Most people want to go with the cheap systems. Which is a bad idea.... You can spend 3K on an air ride and it work out but for most daily driven rides I'd say save the money and spend about 500-800 and just get a decent set of springs and struts/shocks. Just looking to save the person some money Plus if you dont install the system yourself that is even more money to throw at it.... I use to work with Pneumatics and I understand the air ride systems.... I just dont like to see people throw money away on something they probably dont need.

Side note: What kit is on that car L8R? I like it!

yeah i used photoshop, it was a couple of steps, like 11-15, and just played with the settings in each step to get the best results. if you give me a picture i can make it for you

Instead of spending money on @iR bAgZ, you could invest the money into something more useful, such as this handy dandy product (http://secure.hop.com/).
