New Protege5 owner here!

Sup everyone.

I just recently bought a 2002 protege5 for my wife. It is really a cool little car. I drive a 2002 RSX typeS, but I love the way the protege5 drives. I'm gonna start searching the forum for info about the car, but I do have a quick question...

What the hell is that whistling noise coming from the roof rack when you get the car over 60 mph? It got to the point where I just took it off because the noise was so annoying. I'd prefer to keep it on, as I like the way it looks and it does offer some functionality, but if it is gonna whistle like that, forget it.

Yeah, I was just searching now and found some answers. I guess the only thing to do is take it off and put the filler caps in place.

BTW, the '02 P5 we bought is Silver. We would have prefered that electric blue color, but the dealer that gave us a kick ass deal only had silver, black or yellow in stock.

Not true... the engine in that car is very impressive. I saw someone on honda-tech swapping one into their Ariel Atom.

welcome to the forums. Laser blue was my primary as well. Silver was my secondary.

I honestly don't think there's any color p5 that doesn't look good.

Actually, I would think I speak for everyone when I say that P5's suck ballz. I hate mine, and hate driving it. I hate it so much, that I even hate putting tons of cash into go fast goodies on it. It sucks so bad, that maybe I'll keep it around forever just so I have something to go hate on when I wanna punch my dog. damn I am full of hate now.
