You know that fan that kicks on everytime you turn on the ac or the heater, or the rear defrost... I think it's the right one (when facing the front end). Since getting the rear motor mount, I am starting to hate that fan more and more on a daily basis. Is there really a need for it? Can it easily be unplugged? Will the engine run hotter?

Thanks,
Dave

Yes, they put that fan there for a reason.

The A/C crates heat, the fan runs to compensate.

The Rear Defrost does not turn on the fan, it puts a load onthe alternator.

The Front Defrost turns on the A/C which turns on the Fan.

When I had my rear AWR mount I had the same problem. The freaking car just vibrated way too much whenever the fan was on.

But its all good now I got the Awr mounts taken out and NSN filled motormounts put in.

You can barely notice the vibration coming from AWR MM's to NSN filled MM's.

But, If your are going from stock MM's to NSN filled MM's you might notice the vibrations a little more.
