94 B4000 Hood/Latch problem

Starting yesterday my hood will not engage the latch. I can depress the 'C' shaped piece with my finger until it clicks and then must release it with the hood release but when I close the hood it does not rotate the latch far enough to click.

Any suggestions on how to adjust the latch or anything else?

Sounds like it is out of adjustment for some reason. The latch pin is adjustable if I recall.
