Some wormbait broke into my car a couple of days ago and broke two of my windows. The front passenger, and the rear wing window. The front one won’t be a problem I don’t think, but the wing window is turning out to be a headache. I’m taking a break from it right now before I break the thing. Any pointers would be appreciated.
Who ever it was didn’t even get my stereo. They just busted up my console and stole my face plate. (first)

Ha ha!
Take off the door panel, use some soapy water as lube, and being careful to never touch or pry against the window itself, us a screwdriver to finesse the weather stripping into place alternating pressure between pushing on the window and working in the stripping.
Now for the other window.

Update, use a plastic tool for the pushing on the weather stripping. The metal one I use caused some chipping in the paint where ever I was pushing on it. It was almost a slam dunk.

to replace the wing windows , remove door panel , the bar that the window slides in is attacked by a bolt , under the weather stripping there are a couple of screws ,remove them , the upright bar will come out ,now you can take out the wing window , replacemant is the reverse . Hope this helps .

I wish I would have done it that way instead of using my forehead. Ouch!
The other window went like clockwork. I took the opportunity to grease the window tracks and the door locks so they work better. It's like a brand new car!

You should put some grease on the bolt in the door and then wipe off the excess . it will make it easier to remove later
