Back on topic. I've got Brembo rotors sitting on the shelf, and I'm waiting for Posiquiet ceramic pads to be delivered. Also ordered a set of HID's, and a Voodoo shift knob. The knob will shorten the throw of my short shifter even more. Yeehaa!!

OK I have to know. How does a shift knob shorten the throw of your shifter? Is it a counterbalanced knob?

CP racing strut tower brace.......Need relocation bracket for cruise control or get rid of it. Also have fiberglass 6 style grill to get painted & get emblem for. Internal conflict/procrastination in progress-less about the grill than the brace.

Just get rid of the cruise control unit. I did and you don't have to go through the hassle of moving it. Its pretty simple if you know what you are doing.

Leaning towards that. Don't like how it acts setting it & waiting for the lag time before it takes over. Can't use it in town anyway.........

OK I have to know. How does a shift knob shorten the throw of your shifter? Is it a counterbalanced knob?

The stock shift knob is tall, and the threads only go 1/4 to 1/2 way up inside it. The Voodoo knob is MUCH shorter, and the threads go a little deeper into it, which effectively lowers the height of the shifter assembly. This reduction in height translates into a slightly shorter shifter throw. It's not a HUGE difference, but it is noticable.

I have my GT SPEC 4 point rear cross linkage brace set and GT SPEC front strut bar. But no instructions for the cross linkage so I will have to play it by ear. I have no idea where some of these parts go. (hah) Wish me luck!

Street Rings, new rear view mirror (or fix the one in the car that's rattling like a mofo), passenger side motor mount, kartboy exhaust hangers, bronzoil bushings all going in tomorrow. Mazdaspeedster top and bottom grills, Ion Sport springs, need to get Tokico illuminas and possibly the RB rear sway bar, all to be installed in 2-3 months when spring arrives...

Oh, and some 03.5 MSP RH's! :D

The audio goodies went in a couple weeks ago, so the zoom zoom now has a little boom boom goin' on.

btw, what's the best way to secure a sub box in the hatch? Velcro? I don't want to do any drilling, but I also want it to stay in place better than it does. Don't really feel like slowing down when I take the corners (thumb)

I've been piling it up for months....

OBX header, Megan Cat-back, Megan Springs<---Still questioning their quality, but hell, I'll be the guiniea pig, Kartboy exhaust hangers and shift bushings, TWM short shifter, RAAMaudio undercarpet padding and sound dampening....All just sitting in the closet waiting....and I still am looking for new toys to put on her. I'm such a jackhole....

The right place to click on to purchase AWR trailing links by themselves from SU for 70.00 & do it today before the coupon expires................

I just took a bungie cord and hooked one end to the tie down on the back seat, and wrapped it around the box and attached the other end to the cargo net tie down. That's enough to keep it from sliding around.

(cheers)

edit: post 200! Yeah!!

Yeah, the AWR links are shown as part of a rear package on the site but not alone. Cullen says 70.00 for just the links when I asked about their availability. So I'm waiting to find out more-got emails out............

I know, I really wish I could start the install now. There's two problems with that; (1. I'm still waiting on a few parts to be shipped, and (2. I need another car to drive while it's being installed. That's why I've been on the hunt for a beater.
