Looks like there is an adapter available to put a video signal on the NAV screen. Play xbox, PS2, watch DVDs, etc. it also will switch to a reverse camera (if installed) automatically.
One bad thing that the box is NOT plug and play....you do have to cut wires.

Navigation Video Interface New Dual Video Only input-Navigation Video Interface works with most OEM Navigation System. Once installed, it allows factory Navigation Screen to display 1 external Video Source, and 1 fully Automatic Rearview/Backup Camera (control by Reverse signal). User can select between Navigation map or our Navigation Video Interface source to be shown on the Navigation Screen by turning the Interface on/off (with optional on/off switch). The navigation system still works in the background when you switch to our system (Navigation Voice guidance will come on when it's supposed to).

I wonder If we would need this entire kit or only the component shown above.
...$700 + install labor would be qiute a chunk of change!
