Not bad, but they have to do something with the rear quarter windows; either drop the bottom window line to match the door sill and get rid of that stupid black plastic trim or get rid of the quarter window altogether.

That seating config could work really well for the wife and I and our 1 kid. Left side looks like there's room for the stroller! RWD, cheap, I'll take one.

As for the front end, that's show car sci-fi BS. It will get the MX-5/RX-8/CX-7 face or whatever replaces that on all the new Mazdas.

Just saw this in person yesterday. Looks pretty good. That front end is definately a little busy though. Just way too much going on there. Oh, and those girls are pretty cute in person too. (thumb)

Just thought I should throw in that Motor Trend has this in their latest issue. They say a production model bearing the MX-3 name is a possibility. Sounds good to me, although I don't know how people would handle a 3 and MX-3

It's covered in the current Sport Compact also. Says it may be out in 2-3 years at around $20,000. Defineately on my list in 2 years when I hand over the Protege to my son. Replacing the Caravan this fall with a Mazda5, so we'll be an all Mazda family!

PLEASE EVERYONE, go to the Mazda website, Contact Us area and beg, plead, offer your first born for them to build us the Kabura! Please! I want one!

I think it looks good so far...not really big on the RX-8 fenders.I heard they will put the MX-5's MZR engine in it with slightly higher hp...what that means I don't know.I can't wait when it comes out.

Nah!It's target price is too low to be the next RX-7.Plus,like I said the engine(as of now) w/ be the MX-5's MZR.I'm curious to see what the final production model will look like.

this car is getting a lot of good reviews!In this months issue of sportcompact car there is a complete review of the car and theyre saying that if mazda puts this car into production it will be an instant classic!and thats great i mean WOW you dont hear that too often,i love mazda they are always ahead of everybody else out there!I was just unhappy when i read it might become the nextgen RX7,its a cool looking car but i expect the 4thGEN RX7 to be alot more aggressive than the kabura and not as futuristic looking.With the release of the R35 and the '07 5.0Supra I think there is a possibility that mazda will finally put a 3rotor in the 7!maybe a 3rotor derived from the renesis!
