I'd say the IS vs. G35 battle is paying off for the consumer. That would be a hard decision to make. Fortunately for me, I don't make the kind of money to have to bother with such a decision. :(

The Infiniti Coupe Concept is a pretty strong hint at the styling direction for the next generation of the luxury division’s G35. That redesigned is expected to go on sale this fall as a 2007 model. Based on the concept, changes in store for the G35 include a more aggressive beltline and shoulder lines with a gentle “wave” design. The roof is a full-length glass panel. The miniature cameras used to replace the outside rearview mirrors won’t likely make it to production. The interior of the concept is marked by a stylish center console that leads to a 7-inch color screen in the center of the dashboard. The interior is accented with aluminum trim.


To me it looks like an updated current gen G35. Where is the Sedan version?

infiniti did the same "coupe concept" song and dance when they did the 1st gen g35 coupe. I can only imagine that the next gen will be almost identical to this. If the pricing remains the same, I'm going to have to start selling myself on street corners now to get one.

also as a side note, when this generation comes out, perhaps prices will finally fall on the 1st gen coupes. their residual value is still through the roof.

From what I read (I forgot which magazine) the GT-R concept uses what will be the next-generation G35 coupe chassis, if that's what is under that sheetmetal, I love how they made them disitinct. Can't wait to see both final results.
