When you get a mid pipe the flex is usually before the cat right?? What if the mid pipe has the cat then the flex?
What my main question is, my mid pipe does not have a flex built into it and doesn't have enough room to put one before the cat. The only space there is, is after the cat and I want to know if its wourth getting a flex welded into the mid pipe and if It will help??
Thanks
Vick
P.S. I'm supposed to get this done on Tuesday and Need to know by then thanks again

well I personally would get the flex installed. because I didn't install a flex I broke my c/s downpipe. I'd rather install it and not worry about anything down the line than not and break something again and need to have it installed after. it wasn't the money to have the downpie fixed but the time to remove it. better safe than sorry. lesson learned here.

if you have an aftermarket DP and value it, get the flex pipe. If not, the AWR's will hold up fine.

my flex is after the cat on mine. works good for me. are you saying 150$ for the flex and to put just the flex on? or did the 150 include other stuff also? you can get ok flex pipes on ebay for less than 50 and it doesnt take more than an hour start to finish on installing.

I have an original model of the GHL that came w/o the flex pipe. After seeing another members break @ the hanger I decided it's best to have on put in. $60 later no worries. Oh, and the flex is after the cat on my as well.

The 150 is the cost of the 3 inch flex and to install it. They have to cut the mid pipe and then weld the flex in the middle. So, yea it will cost me $150 total flex and labor...
Its done, i'm getting one just wish it wasn't 150, but better to do it right the first time... I'm gonna ask them how much they charge to fabticate a downpipe too, just to see the price.
