Yep that back end if completely corrado, the scirocco also felt longer and lower in the nose area.

Though that is still a sweet looking car ::)

What the hell? That article says the second gen Sciraccos were less attractive? I like the second gens way more than the first.

I think they should have been more realistic and called it the Corado, but still a nice car.

Jettaish front, RSXish rear. It is like the Corrado, more than the old Scirroco. Nice ride. Cannot wait to see a tuned version.

When they release it I will buy it. I miss my SLC corrado baddddd Have never heard a car that sounded like that one. My first car was a 81 Scirocco S. Would love to find another one and stuff a vr6 in it. Got out of european cars for a while but I have been thinking about getting back in.....

Whats fun is a year or so ago they gave that design the Corrado name. I honestly think it's all BS.... I dont believe they will make it again.... Everyone loved it but VW thought they had to many problems. Funny thing is I was just talking to my father about this a few nights ago.

So Veedub is going to do a Scirocco GTI. That looks like a chop of the new 06 GTI.

The European pedestrian safety laws have also been f'ing up front ends for a while now. The Accord, Civic and upcoming GT-R to name a few all meet the new requirement that there is a certain distance between the hood and the actual engine so the hood can absorb some of the impact.
