Can you clarify? These wires will or will not fit a 3rd gen protege sedan ('99-2000 1.8L)?

This is a 1.8L (four wire) vs the 2.0L (two wire) issue?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the 1.8 an FS motor too? Seems like it should have the same spark plug wires.

it's nothing to do with the spark plugs...the difference is at the other end of the wires. these wires were made to fit a distrubutor...not the coils we have on our cars. i have the 1.8L coils...but the ends won't fit on them...i guess you need to have the old school shit for these to work.
