Mazda 3 parts?

Does anyone know if Mazda 3 aftermarket parts will fit in the 5? As far as filters, intakes, oil caps etc. ?

I think so. I traded in a Mazda3 for the Mazda5 and everything in the engine bay looks the same.

The engine and transmission is the same as my old 04 Mazda3, so I think it should all fit.

Small items like filters and caps should fit. I would take the time to measure intakes though -- different packaging and space limitations in the engine bay. Many non-engine componenets are shared too. I've seen posts talking about door handle pulls, mirror covers, and other parts being shared too, if you're into chroming those.

On another forum somebody installed an air intake made for the 3 and it has worked fine.

The same car in the link selling the intake for around $81 on ebay.. I wonder how good the filter is though?
