well i got the car dynoed last weekend. I had the stock airbox, without the thing on top of the radiator. the best was 88.3WHP (lol2). the sheet shows 86 for some reason, lower than the computer screen. it did it on all the cars.

this might be usefull now that that header came out so we can compare the gains of it and other stuff.

uploading the video right now.

I also dynoed at exactly 88hp stock, nice. You seem to be pulling a much better 1/4 mile, dam autos. Its probubly sae corrected 86. We need more top end!! Try out a rai, its +4 hp but it adds crazy low end. Im hopping as soon as I get the cel issues ironed out ill pull some more top end. What 0-60 you pullin?

Any other mods?

don't know about the 0 to 60. I have an ebay CAI, that I made into a short ram. took it out because my gas milage was very shitty(240 Miles out of a tank.) I just forgot to take it to the dyno with me so I could do a run with and without it.

I got no more mods other than the rice exaust, Lol

The sad part is that a 1.6 auto will net about the same MPG as my 2.0 turbo manual.

IDk Ive hit 35 mpg. Significantly mOre at times but I dont know what happened there.
JUst gotta be above 2.8k rpm so the torque converter doesnt suck the place up.

Looking at the dyno the a/f is wierd. did you floor it at 3700 rpm or something. Im hoping if the a/f's are fixed it would significantly improve power.

Before 3700 rpm the AFR is right at 14.7. From that, I'd guess that that is simply the point where the stock ECU crosses over from closed loop to open loop. I'm sure there are many parameters that the stock ECU usees to decide whether or not to go into open loop mode. I think the main ones are rpm and tps though.

I can get around 30mpg if I attempt to drive slowly... Which is all the 1.6 can do. Drive slowly.

The guy floored it under 3K, so I am guessing that's where the ECU goes into Open Loop. That’s why were where all laughing and thanking Mazda for the shitty ECU's on our cars. All the A/F were like that, except on the 3, which was a little better.
