Coming out of my apartment complex the other day, I hit ice and slid into a curb. I was going very slow, maybe 5mph or less. Now my steering wheel is slightly angled when I'm going straight and the front rim seems a little wobbly. I'm not sure if the rim is actually bent or something else is causing it to wobble. The damage to the rim seems very minor. It's only scraped around the lip, it's not dented in at all. I am going in to have my alignment checked, but I was wondering if you guys thought that it might need more work than an alignment.

Could have bent the tie rod or control arm. There is definately a possibility of those parts being damaged since the wheel is crooked while going straight. The wheel could be bent also.

Yep, bent something if it's that screwed up.
Wheel could have problems too. Check it good and don't go on any long trips.

definitely need an alightment. control arms are easy to break and could also be the culprit. Get it checked ASAP!
