After numerous searching on all 3 MAIN protege websites, I cant find that how-to anymore
I know there used to be one that showed a trick where you dont have to completely drop the front subframe and such to get that sway bar out....
can someone either post a link to it, or revisit this topic for me ???
There is a member on my other site that is asking about the install, and I can't for the life of me remember the exact details

I looked from all angles at the darn thing, and couldn't figure out another way to do it. With all the bends involved in the bar you can't just wiggle it around all the other stuff. Since I was working by myself I dropped the whole subframe. Over two days/18 hours, I installed front/rear Mazdaspeed sway bars w/rear subframe, Tokico blues w/springs and AWR front/rear motor mounts. Glad that's done!

well I remember it like this...you dont have to drop the a-arms,steering rack, and exhaust...something like, you drop the cross member and the bolts for the subframe, then you get someone to manhandle it down far enough to get the sway bar mount bolts off the subframe and pull it out the side , twisting it on the way out....I just dont want to drop all the other stuff, you need some special tools from what I remember for those a-arms, and then you have to worry about power steering fluid getting everywhere

I'd be interested in this, I installed the rear sway bar and subframe, but still have the front one sitting in my closet (might still be in my trunk actually). But yeah, it might have to stay there if I don't figure out how to do that somewhat easier.
