Need info on remote starter...

Well, my wife drives a Protege 2003 and i've told her about the rmeote starter thing and she loved it, now the question is...

is it worth it?
is it bad?
what's the best on the market...and cheap too ;)

has anyone installed one on their car before?

Best and cheap arnt usually dont go hand in hand with products but maybe remote starters are different (eyeballs)

You plan on doing one on a manual tranny? Might have a hard time finding a place that will do that since you will need to make sure that it is in nuetral or problems might arise :-)

i installed a cheap stater in my sister's auto Protege and it works okay......
